5 At-Home Workouts to Keep You Sane During Lockdown
GEORGIA ROSE
With all this spare time on our hands, it seems rude not to try at least one online workout class, right?

23 AUG - 2021
As my boss said to my team at the beginning of lockdown “You can either become a chub, an alcoholic, or an athletic goddess.”
To be quite frank, I’d rather become a ‘chub’. The lockdown baking already began with a full heart-attack Cheesecake. However, I know that come summer - I will fully regret that decision.
I’m also not a huge fan of exercise. Last lockdown (so last year) I embarked on a journey to learn how to run, with the Couch to 5km App, got half-way through and, unsurprisingly gave up as we emerged out the other side into real life. Now, 365 days later - I’m back with the same exercise ambitions.
So, If you feel like joining me on this mission, I’ve rounded up 5 options to kick start the lockdown olympics.

Couch to 5km
Runners looks so graceful and toned so surely if I started running I would therefore be toned and graceful too... not quite sure how that works. However - for everyone starting out, the 5km runner app is perfect, slowly upping your running time over 8 weeks until you can run a solid 5km in one go.
The app was also Apple's App of the Year for 2020 - what a coincidence.
