BY GEORGIA BURT
Contouring has always been a huge part of my makeup routine. Who wouldn't love a bronzed look, bringing attention to your bone structure.

I haven’t tried any Jane Iredale products before, however I picked up the Great Shape Contour Kit to give it a go.
Initial thoughts: All 3 powders have that satin-matte finish that’s non-drying and really workable. I’m obsessed with the pigments of the highlighter and the formula just blends so beautifully on the skin. It’s important to note that a little goes a long way. If you’re even slightly aggressive with your brush, there will be fall out as Jane Iredale is a luxury mineral makeup brand.
The powders adhere beautifully to the skin – it’s super easy to apply and blend. Just remember to pick up minimal amounts of product and work it right in before adding more. Must use sparingly!
Packaging wise, I’m all for the gorgeous gold hue that’s unanimous with the Jane Iredale brand. Plus the palette is lightweight, highly functional and travel-friendly! I’m in and out of Australia super often, so I like makeup that’s slim and light. Bulk and heavy-weight is not ideal for a mover like me.
Tips and Tricks
Highlight – apply underneath the eyes, forehead, brow bone and/or tear duct to illuminate and give that brightening effect.
Blush – blend onto apples of the cheeks for a subtle flush of colour.
Contour – apply onto hollows of the cheeks, forehead, chin and sides of the nose to definite and enhance features.
