One of the first luxury makeup products that I splurged on was the Dior Addict Lip Glow, and I absolutely loved it to bits! Since then, my luxury makeup journey has taught me many things. For instance, just because a product has an expensive price tag, doesn’t guarantee that you’re going to love and use them. Today, I wanted to address some of the more underrated or silent beauty products from the luxury line that needs your attention.

Chantecaille Future Skin Cushion Skincare Foundation
The Chantecaille Future Skin Cushion Skincare Foundation is the original Future Skin, but on steroids. If you are looking to try a cushion foundation in a fail-proof formula, this is the one to go for.
One of the reasons why this foundation has such a high price tag is due to the fact that it includes a refill. This is quite common for cushion foundations. In any case, the Chantecaille cushion foundation is packed with powerful skincare ingredients that also contributes to the price.

Re-applying is a breeze and the pigmentation is out of this world considering how lightweight this formula is.
There isn’t anything quite like the Lip Maestro on the market, especially because of the unique shade range. From neon oranges to burnt plums and brick reds, you are bound to find a colour that you don’t already own.
My favourite shade is 214. A deep muted coral with pink undertones- I love using it on its own or with a neutral lip liner for an amplified nude shade.

Rae Morris is a world renowned makeup artist and her brushes are used by some of the biggest names in the industry. If you are a brush whore, like myself, and you believe in the power of tools, Rae Morris brushes are an absolute must.

If you are familiar with the Dior eyeshadow palettes, forget what you think you know about Dior eyeshadows. Unlike the shadows from Dior’s popularised palettes, the Mono Couleur Couture High-Colour Eyeshadows has one of the best eyeshadow formulas on the market.
You can find the full range at your nearest Dior retailer. However, Sephora stocks a limited number of shades from the line so that you can redeem the points for a VIP reward. Wherever you find them, the Dior single shadows are an absolute must.
These single shadows are incredibly soft and pigmented and they blend like an absolute dream. While the mattes are extraordinarily buttery, the shimmery shades have a unique micro-pearl and glitter formula that is very unique. Pearl star in particular is a white glittery shade that you can use to top off any look for that sparkle. If you are looking for something different, Rouge Trafalgar is a vibrant brick shade that is perfect for an autumn or spring smokey eye.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Candy Glaze
The YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Candy Glaze is one of the best lippies on the market. Although it is technically a tinted lip balm product, the Candy Glaze is unique due to its intense gloss factor and high pigmentation. Coupled with the fact that the shade range is incredibly diverse compared to its other tinted lip balm counterparts, the Candy Glaze is truly worth its dear price tag.
My personal favourite shades are Burgundy Temptation, Pink Satisfaction and Nude Pleasure. I love how the Candy Glaze doesn’t end up tinting the lips a hot pink after reapplication. If this is a familiar problem to you, definitely check out the Candy Glaze.
